Today was all about 4-H District Roundup for Jasper and me. We left the house at 7:15 and drove to Nacogdoches, where he and his 4-H buddies were competing. They had two skits that they did, and both placed well enough to send them to the state Roundup in June.
We stopped for a celebratory lunch on the way home. It was a stunningly beautiful day, warm and sunny with the countryside glowing in a hundred different shades of green. What a beautiful day for a drive!
We arrived home mid-afternoon and I even had time for a nap before getting ready for our house guests, who arrived this evening.
Meanwhile, Lina got to see Niagara Falls and made it safely into Canada!
