Safe Am I

At our writers’ meeting on Tuesday, one of the men who spoke mentioned an old chorus as part of his story, and since I haven’t heard it in many years, I thought I’d post it here for you instead of a hymn this week.

Safe Am I

Safe am I, Safe am I,
In the hollow of His hand;
Sheltered o’er, sheltered o’er
With His love forever more
No ill can harm me, No foe alarm me,
For He keeps both day and night,
Safe am I, Safe am I,
In the hollow of His hand.
